Jennifer Hou Kwong (Jian Ping) / Director
Kwong is the associate producer of Mulberry Child, an award-winning feature-length documentary film based on her book of the same title. She also produced and directed Cultural Ambassador, a short documentary. She worked in the film industry in China for four years before coming to the U.S. and holds a master's degree in film from Ohio University. A multiple Emmy Award winning producer, Ceaser has worked on many documentaries about the people in Chicago who make it great. Her subjects range from pre-eminent Chicagoans like the late Bill Veeck, the soul and gospel group the Staple Singers and the late artist Ed Paschke. She’s also profiled teachers, politicians and everyday Chicagoans. Her work has been broadcast on PBS, WTTW, WYCC, A & E, AMC and CBS. Goodman has played a pivotal role in many creative ventures in film, music and theatre. He began his foray into the creative world as an investor/manager in the UK music industry (The Animals, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin), film production (The Greek Tycoon) and distribution (Picnic at Hanging Rock ). He served on the Board of Cinema Chicago and the Chicago International Film Festival for many years and was board chairman in 1994/95. Most recently, he was the co-executive producer of the award-winning films, Louder Than A Bomb, Mulberry Child and the UK produced thriller, A Thousand Kisses Deep. A one-time advertising copywriter with a degree in film, Paul has worked as an independent photographer and producer for the past 30 years. He worked on projects for large company clients including Pizza Hut, Wrigley, Alberto Culver and Brunswik, agencies such like Leo Burnett, BBDO and Foote, and FCB. Brent Hannigan / Editor An editor in Chicago for over 20 years who has worked on dozens of film and television documentaries. Projects that Hannigan edited include “Parents for Peace,” “WaMahyaya 3,” a 15 part Saudi Arabian TV series, and “Blues Kids,” a documentary for PBS WYCC. Hannigan received his B.A in Radio, Film and Television Studies with Music at Christ Church University, Canterbury, UK. |
